Adult Programs

Serving adults with disabilities.

Graduated Art Classes

These classes are offered throughout the year for adults 18 and up.  Participants explore a variety of visual art projects, forms and ideas together in a fun, community setting.

Specialized Classes

VSA collaborates with groups and non-profit agencies to provide specialized art classes.  These classes are held at the VSA offices or at other local community sites.  For more information or to get an adult program started, please contact vsaprogram@iserv.net and include "VSA Adult Programs" in the subject line.

Some current partners include Hope Network and the Grand Rapids Housing Commission.

Visual Voice Project

VSA offers weekly art classes at Metro Health Hospital in Grand Rapids to long-term care patients at the hospital.

Very Special Choir

The VSA Choir is a community choir open to any interested adult 18 and older.  The choir meets from September through May.  Rehearsals are held at the Dan Vos Chapel at Kuyper College from 12:30 - 1:30 pm.  Annual fee:  $106.00.
