School Programs

Programs for children from ages of 2-26.

VSA offers programs for children from ages of 2-26 in our school based programs. Programs range from one-time arts access projects to full year, intensive programs.

• ECSE Art & Learn Family Nights
• ECSE Classroom Art Residencies
• VSA Art Day

Elementary - High School

• Three Hour Classroom Workshops
• Ten hour Artist Residencies
• Monthly Art Classes (includes 18 hours of in-class instruction)
• Art Explorations & Life Skills (Includes 34 hours of in-class instruction)
• Festival Day
• Individual Student Scholarships (one on one artist/student experience)
• VSA Student Art Traveling Exhibit

Transition Students

• Three Hour Classroom Workshops
• Arts & Mentoring (includes 64 hours of in-class instruction)
• Monthly Art Classes (includes 18 hours of in-class instruction)
• Very Special Choir
• VSA Student Art Traveling Exhibit

Any classroom meeting eligibility requirements may apply to participate in VSA programs.
General Eligibility Requirements:

Your classroom is located within Kent or Ottawa Counties;
A minimum of 1/3 of your students must be students with disabilities;
Some fees may apply, depending on the program;
Your classroom fills out required registration and application paperwork by organization deadlines.
